A Sinner, yet Saved.

Oh how we do not know what we do Lord! My heart cries for the sins I have committed! How oh how Lord could you ever love me? How oh how could you ever forgive me? A sinner who nailed you to the cross, through my sinning, nail by nail I pounded each one in, selfishness my only thought. I did not know what I did. And yet, in my brokenness, in my selfishness, in my unworthiness, you saw a life worth saving!

Isaiah 57:15

New International Version (NIV)

15 For this is what the high and exalted One says—
he who lives forever, whose name is holy:
“I live in a high and holy place,
but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly
and to revive the heart of the contrite.

Definition of CONTRITE

: feeling or showing sorrow and remorse for a sin or shortcoming.

My heart cries: "Why Lord, do you see something worth saving in this human life?"
And my Lord answers: Because I love you. I sent my son to die for you because I love you my child and I have a purpose especially for you!

Ephesians 2:4-5

New International Version (NIV)
4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

2 Timothy 1:9

New International Version (NIV)
9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

We don't save ourselves, no matter how much we would like to think so.

Ephesians 2:8

New International Version (NIV)
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

Praise the Lord, for he is truly amazing!

Get closer in your walk with God, I promise it will be rewarding.

Have a awesome day or night!
