The Applause of Heaven. . .

So I've been doing this Bible Study with a few other young ladies and 2 leaders, the Bible Study is called "Revelation" and is by Max Lucado.

The Name basically tells you what it is. We studied the book of Revelation in the Bible
( I would like to point out something here - It's "REVELATION" - not "REVELATIONS" - see that, no "s" If you don't believe me go ahead and take a look in your Bible, no "s" is at the end, though most people say "Revelations" because they haven't really looked at the name. Alright back to what I was saying...) the book of Revelation is my favorite book in the Bible to read, I think that's because I find it amazing the privilege God gave John when He revealed all of these things to him. (amongst other things)

Wouldn't that be pretty amazing if that was you?

I think so! Well basically the whole reason I was writing this is so I can type something that REALLY had an impact on me, so here it is. . .

"I'll be home soon. My plane is nearing San Antonio. I can feel the nose of the jet dipping downward. I can see the flight attendants getting ready [My Wife] Denalyn, is somewhere in the parking lot, parking the car and hustling the girls toward the terminal.

I'll be home soon. The plane will land. I'll walk down that ramp and hear my name and see their faces. I'll be home soon.

You'll be home soon, too. You may not have noticed it, but you are closer to home than ever before. Each moment is a step taken. Each breath is a page turned. Each day is a mile marked, a mountain climbed. You are closer to home than you've ever been.

Before you know it, your appointed arrival time will come; you'll descend the ramp and enter the City. You'll see faces waiting for you. You'll hear your name spoken by those who love you. And, maybe, just maybe -- in the back, behind the crowds -- the One who would rather die than live without you will remove his pierced hands from his heavenly robe and. . .applaud." (From The Applause of Heaven by Max Lucado)

The last part "
And, maybe, just maybe -- in the back, behind the crowds -- the One who would rather die than live without you will remove his pierced hands from his heavenly robe and. . .applaud." -- that made me cry and I mean full out tears running down my face. Jesus who could leave us here and say "I'm tired of your sins." would rather DIE (which he did on the cross) than have ANYONE go to hell! Yes that means YOU! Now why could you not want that AMAZING FORGIVING LOVE? No one is "good enough" for forgiveness, no one ever will be, but Jesus died on the cross because he WAS so you don't have to be. All you have to do is ask Him into your heart and I promise you He will change your life!

I hope you WILL take that free & wonderful gift.

Have a blessed day!
